Executive Portraits to Social Media Headshots

People buy from those they know and trust. Because of this, we need to present an image that is friendly and approachable to help build that trust. Morton Visuals excels at making you look your best, by creating that valuable first impression for your potential clients. Whether it’s a straightforward professional headshot for your social media profile photo or a business portrait of you in your environment, we will help you. We offer casual lifestyle photography or formal portraits — whatever fits with your brand. We can go on location and bring a studio to you. This way we minimize the time you need to spend, which allows you to get back to doing what you do best.

Who needs a good headshot?

Any business person who interacts with customers needs at least a good professional headshot. Some fields in particular that can benefit from a strong business portrait include:

  • Realtors
  • Sales People
  • Business Leaders
  • Public Relations Professionals
  • Politicians
  • Lawyers
  • Bankers
  • Financial Advisors
  • Wealth Managers
  • Celebrities
  • Insurance Agents
  • Networkers
  • Consultants
  • Speakers

What’s the difference between a business portrait and a social media headshot?

The key visible difference is in the cropping. A business portrait often shows more of the person and their environment, and usually displays larger. Whereas a social media headshot, usually used for a profile photo, is typically a small thumbnail. More often than not it is cropped square. But to make matters worse social media websites often apply a circular mask, cropping the corners. For that reason you really want to see a closeup of the face. A full-length photo will make the face too small to see – and you really want to create a connection with the viewer. Two examples are below.
